Tried to make cut-out paper snow flakes today. My co-workers and I could not figure out how to make them. Paper was folded, cuts were made. Ugly, terrible square ink-blot like cut outs were held up as snow flakes. How could we have forgotten how to make these simple paper objects? Tomorrow I think I should lock my self in my office until I get this cut-out paper snowflake business right.

SNOW
The major roads are finally clear of snow. This is a good thing us Southerners do no do well with snow. Of the 2 "real" neighborhoods I have driven through today I have only seen a total of ONE snowman! I can't get over it. All of the kids in the area were home from school on a snow day. I guess kids these day are more interested in staying inside with playstation and not getting outside to enjoy the snow. When I was a kid I was more interested in building Iglo's than actual snownmen. I didn't see any Iglo's either.

STILL NO TREE
I still have yet to decide whether or not to get a Christmas tree. DRC is over for the weekend and he would be the one to help me pick out the tree, tie it to my car, carry it up 3 flights of stairs, put it in its stand and screw it in and decorate it. Not sure if he or I are up for the challenge this weekend.

I have made it through the Thanksgiving Holiday and thus far I have been able to stay away from the malls. Went to look a where might be living in a few months. The condo's bathroom and kitchen are terribly decorated and my potential bathroom has to be a absolute worst part of the entire 3 bedroom place (everything else is quite pleasing). Hopefully, my friend Sus who is purchasing the codo will allow me to steam off the wall paper as the first mode of business. After watching endless hours of Trading Spaces I feel that I am well prepared for such a task.

Ahh Thanksgiving Day. Time to spend some quality time with the family. Thank goodness the rents are only a 5 min drive from where I live now. I couldn't imagine having to travel and further than that. I am planning to waste the day away watching mindless TV. Yes, that means the talk shows and the endless thanksgiving cooking shows. Hopefully I will be able to stay away from infectious TLC programming like the Wedding Story and The Baby Story. I am currently obsessed with adding items to my Amazon wish list. Everyday I find something I want to add. I have also become obsessed with items other people have added. Funny thing is, I haveyet to send my list to anyone.

Seems like its been raining forever here in VA. Off to Boston this week for work. All attempts to find proper gloves for this trip ended in failure. I think I am going to be cold and grumpy on this trip. At least I will be able to enjoy a few good dinners on the company's dime. That is all I am looking forward to.
